Question: can I give my kid cypon syrup for increasing her hunger . she is 6 year old and lost hunger after one week of viral fever

Cypron Syrup contains cyproheptadine which is an appetite stimulant. But it has some side effects as well.

Since, decreased appetite is due to viral fever, i think that she will be fine in a few days and there is no need to give this Syrup.
