Question: Can you tell me how many calories I should be consuming to maintain 135 lbs? I am 5'2" tall and although I am not a couch potatoe I am not real active.

Dear Ma'am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns . Your daily caloric intake should be around 1800-1900 per day .. About 10-35% of your caloric intake should be proteins including meat, fish , poultry and eggs.. while 40-60 % of your caloric intake should be from carbohydrates preferably high fiber carbohydrates such as brown bread, XXXXXXX ,whole grain products brown pasta and wheat.. high fiber carbohydrates will help maintain regular bowel habits.. you should also have 3-4 servings of vegetables and fruits daily .. Another thing is that you should keep yourself adequately hydrated by drinking 8-10 cups of water or other beverages daily .. I hope you find this helpful ..
