How Long Should Masturbation Be Avoided Post Myomectomy?

Question: Hi Doc., I had undergone open myomectomy for removal of 10 cm intramural posterior wall uterine fibroid on 1st XXXXXXX 2016. I am on medication right now (Amanzem and Ceftum). The stitches are still intact and I will visit my Gynae for checkup tomorrow. During the surgery the endometrium was not cut. I am not sexually active because of my long distance rel. Before surgery I used to masturbate regularly, once every alternate day. I feel sexually aroused from past 2 days. Kindly let me know the following:
1)     When can I masturbate (Clitoral stimulation)?
2)     When can I have sex? (Though my Gynae told me not before 4 months)
3)     When can I conceive? (My Gynae told me to avoid it for next 6 to 9 months)
4)     Will I have any problem during pregnancy?
5)     What are the chances to develop the fibroid again?
6)     Will I have normal delivery in future?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
1. Masturbation and sexual arousal should be avoided for 6 weeks after myomectomy.
2. Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 6 weeks.
3. You should conceive at least after 6 months of myomectomy.
4. No, not due to myomectomy.
5. Chances of recurrence of fibroid are approx 30-40%.
6. Normal delivery can be there, if the uterine cavity was not opened during myomectomy.
