How Long Does Liver Take To Regenerate?
Question: I have been diagnosed with mild diffuse hepatomegaly. I have stopped drinking alcohol. I am taking Livomyn. How much time it takes to cure the liver and come back normal stage?

Liver is a amazing organ and regenerates very well if not abused.
Liver regeneration depends upon the time period person has consumed the alcohol and the damage which has been resulted.
Since your liver doesn't show the cirrhosis changes and it is only mildly enlarged it can be regenerated completely by abstaining from alcohol for at least 6 months.
Make sure not to drink even a drop during this time and be gentle in your drinking once you resume your drinking again after a gap of 6 months or more.
Take plenty of fresh fruits,green vegetables,water during this period for healthy recovery of liver.
