How Long Does Anal Abscess Take To Heal By Draining?
Question: i have an anal abscess, ive been to the hospital for it and they desided not to do surgery on it because it was already draining. they gave me antibiotics to take at home. how long does it take for the abscess to heal since its draining without surgery?

The process of healing is influenced by virulence of organism, the size of abscess and body resistance. The doctors who had examined the abscess should have given a broad recovery period. If your viral load is in control, I would give it 2-3 weeks time to heal.
