My cycle is to heave and when I do bleed I get faint and about to pass out my doctor said I am losing to much blood and he put me on this medication. I think he would like to do a hysterectomy. When I am off my cycle I have a heavy pursue between my legs and it has been hurting off and on for about one year now and no doctor can tell me the reason for the pain.

Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below...

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again!

If you have used Norethisterone to treat heavy menstrual cycle ,usually it gives effect within the first week of it's use,but vary from the reason of what have caused heavy vaginal bleeding.
Have you done transvaginal scan, are your uterus and ovaries normal?!
Have you done your blood hormones such as,FSH,LH,TSH,are they within normal range?!
Are you anemic,or have low count of red blood cells?
Why your doctor have sad to do a hysterectomy, because you are so young?!

Meanwhile the pain between legs I haven't had any patient with this symptom.
But to relive pain you can take painkillers .

Hope I was helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Best regards

Hello. I m 32 years old and had my 4th c-section in December 2013, when I was told that my bladder is stuck to my uterus. Since my period started on Wednesday I ve been having some pain on the left side of my lower abdomen and at times it is so severe I can t stand up straight. When the pain subsides it leaves the area feeling quite sore and tender to the touch. Could this pain be related to my adhesions? I ve run a pregnancy test and that is negative. My GP is treating me for a UTI as there were a few white blood cells in my urine. I ve not been feeling quite right since my surgery and my wound was infected for a while and had to be cauterised. I can t tell what s related to my body recovering from pregnancy/surgery, or whether something else is going on.

My sister just told me that she has a mass measuring 22mm on her uterus. She is an otherwise healthy female 32.5yrs old. About 5 5 and weighs about 155-160lbs. There is a family history on the Maternal side of fibroids and Uterine/ovarian cancer. Is there a correlation between the size and whether or not it is cancerous? Also there has been active bleeding and her doctor is calling for surgery to remove the mass. Obviously I am concerned especially since we do not live close.

There is immediate and satisfactory opacification of the uterine cavity showing smooth marginal outline and normal mucosal pattern. There are no definite evidence for filling defectsnor abnormal areas of extrinsic deformities. The left fallopian tube is unopacified. There is well visualization of the right fallopian tube showing normal caliber and course with spillage of contrast into the peritoneal cavity. What does this mean?
