How Long After Taking An I-pill Will Bleeding Resume?

I had unprotected sex with my gf on 1st august. She had her period on 18-22nd july. After sex she took an i-pill within 2 hours.When should she get bleeding?Is anything wrong if not bleeding?

Thanks for the query to HCM,
As she has rightly taken ipill within 2 hours of intercourse, her withdrawal bleeding should be expected in next 5-7 days or XXXXXXX till 10 days. If there is no bleeding then she should get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy due to emergency contraceptive failure. If then , the hcg levels are more than 3mIU then she would be pregnant. Though the success rates of ipill is 99 per cent , but there have been cases of pregnancy inspite of ipill intake. So please watch for the withdrawal bleed, which if arrives, shall rule out pregnancy completely.

If the test is positive then you may opt for termination of unplanned pregnancy by medical method under a gynaecologist's super after ruling out ectopic pregnancy with an ultrasound pelvis.
