Question: i am 32 years old, i was on clomid from 3rd day of m y periods. then went through follicular study.
on 12th day right ovary was 19mm and on 13th day it was 20mm. took hucog 5000units on 13th day. had pinching pain on my right ovary that day. want to know how much time it takes the follicle to rupture after
hucog 5000units. will be going for sonography to check if follicle has ruptured or not. today is my 14th day.

Usually ovulation occurs within 34-48 hrs after hcg injection.. But since you experienced ovulation pain and the follicle size was already 20mm, there is a high chance that ovulation had occurred..

There presence of free fluid and absence of follicle indicates ovulation.. Luteal phase progesterone support is good after ovulation..
