Hi,

The progression of NAFLD is triggered by many factors like diabetes, alcohol use, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, use of drugs and toxins etc.

Generally without influence of other factors as mentioned above, the average time taken to progress to cirrhosis is 7.7 yrs. If it is coupled with Non-Alcoholic SteatoHepatitis then it would take an average of 6 yrs.

So if i had a fibroscan 2 months ago with a 5.5 score its very unlikely that I developed chirosis in 2 months
