Brief Answer:
HSV II infection can not be transmitted to mouth

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query

Genital Herpes is caused by Herpes Simplex virus type II.
This can produce lesions in and around genitals and anus and not elsewhere in the body. So if you are having HSV II infection your partner would unlikely to get infected through oral sex.
At the same time HSV I infection can rarely be acquired in genitals also through oral sex with somebody who had HSV I. So if your genital lesion is due to HSV I your partner is likely to get this HSV I infection through oral sex with you. I hope that I am clear and you catch the point.

Brief Answer:
Chances of HSV infection is there without lesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.

There might be viral shedding following the attack or following a recurrence, even after complete healing, for a week or ten days. Similarly Prior to recurrence also there might be viral shedding in the absence of any lesions. So we can not rule out the possibility of her getting infected through saliva or even oral sex as you are positive both for HSV I and II.
