Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Angiogram is basically a diagnostic test which is done to evaluate coronary arteries of the heart for their patency or you can say to see if there is any blockage inside them or not.

Angioplasty is a treatment procedure in which the blocked arteries are opened with the help of a Stent.

Challenges or problem faced depends upon various factors like:

1. Age of the patient
2. Associated comorbidities like other diseases
3. Nature/Severity of the disease
4. Time of presentation
5. Socioeconomic background
6. Educational status

Problems faced during the treatment are completely diffferent and are know as complications. These complications can be early or delayed again depending upon the nature or severity of the disease and some other factors.

During imaging usually there are no problems untill unless there is significant abnormality in the anatomy of the body or some acquired deformity.

During treatment it can include many things like

1. Cardiac arrest
2. Life threatening arrythmias
3. Stroke
4. Pump failure
5. Allergic reactions
6. Ruptures

I hope this information will answer your query.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
