You know the seroconversion thing had me worried. Because exactly 2 weeks after the exposure incident, I had a throat clearing sensation in my throat. It wasn't exactly a sore throat, no pain in swallowing etc. But I was feeling like I needed to constantly clear my throat. This lasted for around 2 weeks. Normally, they say seroconversion starts at around the 2 weeks mark. So had me wondering, if this is a seroconversion happening in my case. However, it could have been an allergy, since I had an over the counter anti-allergy pill and took it for 3 days and the throat clearing sensation went away. So I'm not sure which did it, the anti-allergy pill or was it that the sero-conversion ran its course and went away?

Could this toweling have pushed the hiv virus into my meatus by any chance. In case it did could the small amount from my fingers be enough to cause hiv virus to get in and cause damage.
Because Im really confused by the throat issue happening for me as I stay fit and healthy all the time and not remembering having it happen to me earlier in the last few years.
That's why I want to do the oraquick after 1 week, at the 6 weeks mark, and then again at 3 months because to ease the stress, would this be a good idea.
I don't think I want to go through the other tests, as those are expensive and cant be done from home.

by the way, doc, an update, I did an oraquick test, it came back as negative! This was at the 5 week mark. I know the 12 week mark is more reliable, but all the same, was real happy! Just wanted to let you know. I will be doing further tests after few weeks.
