Brief Answer:
You may do a screening test at 4 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.

HIV spreads through unprotected sex i.e unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex. A condom provides adequate protection against transmission of HIV. Unprotected oral sex on a male partner carries a low risk of transmission of HIV as compared to unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Nevertheless you must screen for HIV at 4 weeks with a 4th generation screening test. The exact risk from oral sex alone has not been estimated because people who practice oral sex also practice other forms of sex during the same sexual encounter.
