How Concerned Should I Be About Swelling In My Right Elbow And Two Lymph Nodes Under Each Arm Long After Treating Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma?

Question: I had stage 4 hodgkins in 1984 and was treated with chemo and radiation. I have had regular check-ups, PET scans, CT scans, etc. On a routine breast MRI, two lymph nodes under each arm were noted measuring 3.4 cm and 3.7 cm. I also have swelling in my right elbow that has been present for about six weeks. How concerned should I be about the new findings? I will be seeing my oncologist next week. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Biopsy Test recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi

After hearing your history since you are having lymph nodes under arm more than 2 cm in size I would advise you to do a biopsy test

Any nodes more than 2 cm is suspicious of malignancy and if in scan space occupying lesion is found then biopsy has to be done to rule out malignancy

Thank you very much. Does the swelling in the elbow have any significance? I have also had some random night sweats but no other symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Could be lipoma

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you had no other symptoms other than night sweet the swelling in elbow could be a lipoma which is a benign condition.
But however I would like you to observe the swelling and if it does not increase in size after 1 month there is nothing to worry.
