Question: Thank you for checking up on me. I was hit real hard for 2 weeks. Vomiting, loss of appetite, loss of energy,
& constipation. I over did the exercise the day before & have been taking 75 mg of Quetiapine Fumarate for 12 years
for sleep. Do you think the drug was the cause? No longer take it, but have not slept well going on 3 weeks
& still weak.

Brief Answer:
Quetiapine is less likely cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up.

Condidering the symptom profile in form of vomiting, loss of appetite, loss of energy I feel quetiapine was less likely cause as it helps in vomiting and increases appetite.

In addition bad reaction after 12 years of use is remotest possibility.

In my opinion setting that experience aside quetiapine can be reintroduced in gradual manner to handle the sleep problem.

I hope this assists you further.
Thanks and regards.
