Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
ESR is erythrocyte sedimentation rate.I t is useful in detecting and monitoring tuberculosis, tissue death, certain forms of arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory diseases that cause vague symptoms.
There are many conditions like Anemia, Endocarditis, Kidney disease, Osteomyelitis, pregnancy, Rheumatic fever, Rheumatoid arthritis, Syphilis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Thyroid disease, Tuberculosis or other inflammatory conditions which consist of raised ESR.
The only way of treating it is diagnosing it and treating it accordingly.
In your case you are a diabetic so try ruling out infections which are common.I have experienced in my own clinics that aggressive treatment of infections with antibiotics is very important to treat raised ESR.
You also are anemic which needs treatment aswell. For your hemoglobin I advice oral iron therapy if its not tolerated then you can go for iron sucrose.

Brief Answer:
symptoms are suggestive of lung pathology

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanx for the revert.
In first question you only asked about how to reduce esr.so I dint have any other option but to answer randomly. Its nice that you have told all the symptoms now.
Patients symtoms and lung cavities lead towards a strong suspicion of TB. There can also other lung infections like pneumonia, empyema. First line of management should be ruling out TB,for that have the sputum tested. If TB is present start anti TB drugs. If its not TB start appropriate antibiotic therapy.

Regarding the drugs your doctor prescribed they only are for symptomatic treatment and are not going to help you treat the condition. So I suggest you to consult with your doctor regarding the management strategy.

I hope my answer was helpful for you . Dont forget to close the discussion.Thank you.
