Question: I am getting noise in my left ear sounds like crickets not there all the time but comes and goes

I understand your concern. The noise and its on and off pattern makes it very likely to be ear wax build up. The wax tends to shift and change position, hence the noise changing.
It could also be an air pressure problem. However, if the noise continues, I recommend you get an OTC ear wax removal kit. That should solve the problem.
