Question: for the past 2 or 3 years I'VE HAD A PERSISTENT. RECURRING PROBLEM OF BLADDER PAIN. I WIPE FRONT TO BACK. TESTS ALWAYS COME BACK NEGATIVE. AZO USED TO HELP BUT DOESN'T ANYMORE. ANY ADVICE?

BM REGULAR; DIARRHEA AT TIMES DUE TO MEDS. 4. APPETITE FINE; WEKGHT SAME. 5. DOESN'T SEEM RELATED TO CHANGE IN MEDSOR OTHER AILMENTS. 6. INCEST SURVIVOR; AGE 9. 7. NO REPORTS AVAILABLE. 8. NO ALCOHOL; SMOKER FOR 40 YEARS.

* Seems low grade cystitis / urethral inflammation most likely .
* Pain is related to inflammation / nerve ending related ;
Frequency is related to Hydrochlorthiazide ( diuretic ) , Diabetes .
* Recommendations for you :
- Get a latest Laboratory report ( complete blood counts , ESR , Fasting blood
sugar , Serum Creatinine , urine microscopy ) ; Ultrasound of abdomen &
pelvis . Future need of Diagnostic Cystoscopy depend upon it .
- maintain hydration with plenty of liquids ( not containing sugar ) .
