The maximum dose of mebendazole for pin worm infection is 100 mg once which can be repeated after a gap of 2 weeks to ensure complete eradication of worms.
It is important that all the members living in the house should be given this medicine at same time so as to break the cycle of re infection.
Mebendazole can be swallowed whole or can be crushed or chewed. It can be taken before or after the food.
All mebendazole can be chewed.
It is very difficult to tell about the medicine by the size and colour of tablet because different companies make it differently. You will have to take the help of your local pharmacist regarding this.
