hi XXXXXXX,

thanks for the query.

-you can use hormonal pills to prepone the periods,
to prepone the periods you have to start the tablets at least 15 days before but sometimes the period may not come as expected.

if you are having at least 15 days time to your periods, start any one of the below tablets after consulting your doctor,

tab. deviry (medroxyprogesterone) acetate 10 mg twice a day or
tab. regesterone (norethisterone) 5 mg thrice a day or
tab. susten 200 mg once a day etc
for 5 days,

after stopping the tablets in 4 to 5 days you will get periods which will continue for 4 to 5 days usually.

-if you are not having 15 days to your periods, better option will be using tablets till the date you need then stopping which will cause withdrawal bleeding, means postponing the periods till the date you want.

-to postpone the periods you can use any one of the below tablets after consulting your doctor,

tab. deviry (medroxyprogesterone) acetate 10 mg twice a day or
tab. regesterone (norethisterone) 5 mg thrice a day or
tab.susten 200 mg once a day or
oral contraceptive pills etc

among the above tablets you can choose one after consulting your doctor only because some people will have side effects with hormonal pills.

hi XXXXXXX,

the possible side effects are,
Nausea, breast tenderness, bloating sensation of abdomen, mood swings, breakthrough bleeding etc.
But don’t worry these are not seen in all women,
If these symptoms persists you have to stop the drug and consult the doctor.

And also women with conditions like obesity, high blood pressure, liver disease, diabetes etc, better to avoid these drugs.

You have to discuss regarding your allergy to sulfur with the doctor depending on that she will prescribe the tablet.

Wish you Good Health, If you are satisfied with my response please rate the answer after closing the discussion.
take care.
