Thanks for posting your query in HealthcareMagic,

I would like to know a few more details related in order to comment on:

- how long since your symptoms have started?

- any history of fall or trauma?

- when does the pain aggravate and when does it subside?

- does your occupation involve prolonged hours of standing or sitting?

- have you done any tests for serum calcium, vitamin D and blood count? If so kindly upload your reports.

Explained below,

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for reverting back,

From the description that you have provided, it could either be muscle related or spine related. Prolonged inappropriate postures can cause this.

I would suggest you to do the following:

- Regular timed breaks in between your work, so that you can relax your muscles.

- Make use of a back or neck cushion while you work.

- Hot water bag application before you go to sleep. You may also choose to apply ice over the affected areas, as this also helps in relieving inflammation.

- It would be worthwhile for you to go for a Xray scan to get a proper look at the spine and to exactly locate the problem.

- Also consider physiotherapy options and exercise then regularly.

- You may also consider taking muscle relaxants for acute pain.

- Also check your serum calcium, vitamin D and blood count.

I hope this helps,

Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close the query and share your positive feedback,
