default
Posted on Fri, 8 Sep 2017
Question: iI would like to ask Dr,Wachsman many more questions about health. I am also considering a second career in XXXX...do not laugh...would like you to look at credentials (mostly ED) and advise. Next step for me ...aside from hip... is stop smoking. thoughts? when I said different procedures for hip ...i understand that some cut through muscle...some are able to go around which might be less ivasive and cut recovery time...again thoughts

I would like you think about this....If I not found a way to contact a competent doctor I would most likely be in jail for something I did not do. As such, I would like to have Dr.Wachsman continue conversations on health care regardless if his peers considerate appropriate for this forum. I am old..hoping to stay as young as I can. talk to me....talk to me about growing and not ready to be old

By the way..it is my understanding that this site is tied into my local law enforcement agencies...so everything I say or you say goes directly to several agencies. I could care less I have nothing to hide except a sore leg

Sorry...would like to find a way thank you and your associates for the help.do you have a XXXXXXX in mind...or can donate (talking about 100.00 ) to local in your name..

ok..thank you again...how do I get past physical pain that I might have (djd) as young man...I want to teach young people to compete....? where dp you draw q line ? I WAS ONE OF THOSE. 3HRS. PRACTICES...NO WATER..PLENTY OF SALT PILLS,,WHAT DID THEY DO TO ME?

BEFORE YOU ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS...CONSIDER THIS I DO NOT HAVE A "phd" HOWEVER I AM ONE OF the most, STUPID PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET. mY PRIORITIEs are roof over head...food on table ..clean latrine..and the rest I will figure out as I go...GOD BLESS XXXXXXX

Sorry.. I know your wife is sick..I am dealing with a dog who has a very sore front foot, took to vet.....gave medicine,,,,have you ever tried to put a "booty" on a dogs foot...have fun.thank you for the conversation...it
gives me time to vent AND help ,e with typing and computer skills

Brief Answer:
Uh, I really hope this site is entirely confidential.

Detailed Answer:
As far as I know it is not tied to local law enforcement. I think I have to report something to someone if you say you are planning to really hurt someone. Gee, I have some thoughts sometime isn't quite up to that level.

Pain issues to some extent I have to be there in order to advise. The classic issue is degeneration disease of , oh, I dunno, maybe a hip. On the one hand more effort and stress on the hip wears it out, on the other hand strengthening the support muscles helps. Also, with more mobility training and getting used to the pain and keeping it movign and not stiffening up, physical therapy and activity is probably the most helpful thing. Injections and surgery are also often helpful.

accupuncture is helpful in pain. it hasn't worked in addictions including cigarettes.
LIkewise hypnosis hasn't generally worked for cigarettes.

There are a lot of features of pain under the term "getting used to it". The body automatically responds to pain to avoid it in the future. this involves automatically learning to not do motions that trigger the pain. People learn to move more cautiously. Also, people get used to the pain. Other sensory inputs distract from pain this is why a TENS unit works. Also probably why a hot shower works.
