Question: went to the doctor they did strep test came out positive went for ear ach what I don't under stand is my throat does not hurt

Strep is actually one of the most common bacteria that causes inner ear infections. With a strep infection, one will not always have a sore throat as we typically think with strep throat type of situation.

In your situation, I'd suspect the Strep infection is predominately involving your ear but the doctor was able to pick up the diagnosis with a swab of your throat. A good broad spectrum antibiotic should clear the strep infection and help improve your ear discomfort as well.
