How can lower leg swelling and discoloration be treated?

Question: I have swelling and discoloration on my left ankle and foot. I have not injured it, and I am not feeling any pain or discomfort. I had severe cramping of the muscles on the top of that foot in the night, not last night, but the night before. What might this be?

At age over 60, we just cannot neglect.
There may be chances of DVT. Deep vein thrombosis.
Also, atherosclerosis and embolism can give rise to such symptoms.
But good thing is that you don't have pain.
That will almost rule out arterial diseases..

But, I will suggest you get a Venous Doppler done and make sure it's nothing to worry about..

Hope to get the answers from you as soon as possible.. I will be happy to help..
Take care.. Thank you.
