Brief Answer:

Allergy reaction, follow the advice

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Thanks for the photograph, it looks like urticaria.

It is caused by a reaction to a certain allergen.

It can be due to foods, soaps, medications such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or other allergens.

To confirm the diagnose it is necessary to do:

-1)blood test and to see the level of IgE.
-2)allergy test

Meanwhile, for symptomatic relief, I'd suggest you to:

-take antihistamines like Cetirizine, once a day for 5 days
-take prescribed Corticosteroids for 5 days.
-you may also apply Hydrocortisone lotion to the area of the belly.

Other advices are:
-Take cold showers
-Apply cold compresses to the area of the belly
-Use soft cotton clothing

I think with this treatment it will be better in some days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:

Corticosteroids are the first line of treatment in allergic reactions

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Hydrocortisone cream is used just for topical effect and is made of steroids. You should apply it at least 3 times a day to see the effect.

Corticosteroids instead spread their effect all over the body when are taken orally and of course work much better.

They are the first line of treatment in case of allergic reactions.

I suggest you to do the examinations when you will find the time just to take precautions for the future.

So you will confirm the cause of the allergy and you can avoid the allergen.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
