Brief answer...you require lifestyle changes
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your problem.
In fact you are suffering from constipation and not intestinal obstruction.
Intestinal obstruction does cause constipation but has various other symptoms like pain abdomen, cramping, vomiting etc.
What to do....
1... Take plenty of water every day.8-10 glasses everyday and increase the amount on hot days and if you are exercising.
2... Be regular.Go to toilet every morning at same time because colonic motor activity is highest at this time.
3.. Since constipation is associated with high degree of stress, you must practice some relaxation exercises like meditation, deep breathing exercises and yoga
4...must do regular aerobic exercises for at least 45 minutes a day.
5... Take plenty of fresh fruits and green vegetables in your diet.
6... Avoid junk foods and excess of non veg foods
7... Take psyllium husk or ISABGOL husk every day with at least 250 -300 ml of water.
8.. Add wheat XXXXXXX to your diet.
9.. Avoid using laxatives as they result in rebound constipation and habit forming.
Even if you take them it must be done occasionally only.
I hope these measures should be able to relieve your constipation. This would definitely take time but it would make you all right.
You are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
