Brief Answer:
Give paracetamol and cough syrup

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM. Can understand your concerns.

Fever and cough in 1.8 years old child suggest that your child has probably common cold or upper respiratory tract infection.

For fever paracetamol syrup is given, sumol contains paracetamol. For cough, you can give cough syrup like chericof or cheston cs syrup.

Common cold does not require antibiotic, while in upper respiratory tract infection antibiotic needs to be given.

All medicines in children are given according to weight of child. Kindly revert back with weight of child.

If there is no improvement in 24 hours then examination by Pediatrician should be done. Antibiotic should be given if no improvement in 24 hours.

Mother can feed the child, fever is not a contraindication for feeding.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Discontinue clavum

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again to HCM.

Since, weight is around 9 kg, give sumol Syrup which contains paracetamol 5 ml three times a day for three days, continue cough syrup 5 ml three times a day for three days.

There is no need to give antibiotic because vomiting doesn't occur in upper respiratory tract infection. If no improvement in 24 hours then get child examined by a doctor.

Take care.
