Brief Answer:
This is normal grief reaction

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query.

I am very sorry to know your situation. From your description you have normal grief reaction. Time will heal it. Most people recover within 4-6 months. Since its a sudden and unexpected loss, you may take longer time to recover. Firstly its a process and not a state. It is accompanied by emotions of sadness, loneliness, crying spells, shock, guilt, disbelief of death and a sense of loss. Trying to resist them, may make them last longer. It is better to accept the situation. A healthy person may not like going on an emotional roller coaster. With time, positive feelings increase and negative feelings decrease in intensity and duration.

In this situation best is to be in touch with your family and friends. Listen and read positive thoughts and wisdom books like XXXXXXX etc. Make new friends and keep yourself busy in work until you figure out what to do next in life. Life moves on.
You can also see psychologists and they can hear to your life experience and provide solution. Mostly normal grief reaction doesnot need medicines.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
You can ask for some time

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

It is hard to move on (even laugh or smile) after beloved's loss. It is your own personal decision about re-marriage. You can decide about it at a later date. Your family is helping fill-up the loss.

You can explain your feelings to your family and ask for some more time (a few months). Grief (mourning) can go on for few months. Praying and getting engrossed in work will help moderate these feelings. Of course its hard for you to forget your wife. Everyone must keep this in mind and help you cope up.
