Brief Answer:
See a general surgeon at Duke's medical center!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully. It is very unlikely that you have a strangulated hernia. The pain associated with strangulated hernia wouldn't have allowed you to be able to communicate with us. Also, this is often treated as an emergency. This leads me to think it is erroneously termed strangulated.

I suggest you see a general surgeon. This is a very simple procedure and can be done one outpatient basis. Duke's hospital medical center should have good specialist to address this.

I hope this guides. Let me know if it is clear enough. I wish you a safe procedure. As usual, am always available to address any further worries that you may have.

Kind regards!

I agree not strangulated. But due to latge size and containing intestines and very painful with no recent bowel movement., it is urgent And since I have already had two abdominal surgeries I know it's not going to be as easy as you think.
Can you recommend a surgeon at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital specializing in stomach/ bowel surgery
