How Can A Cold Sore On The Lip Be Treated?

default
Posted on Wed, 24 May 2017
Question: I am currently using an interlock system in my car so that I may go to work. The interlock system wont let you start your car if you have alcohol in your system or in your mouth. One morning I blew a .04 on the interlock system. That was a month ago and I was highly distressed and couldn't think of how this could've happened until I remembered that I had this HUGE cold sore on my lip. I used Abreva on it, could that have been the culprit?

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, yes Abreva is the cause to that as it is composed of Docosanol 10% . Docosonal is a type of alcohol called behenyl alcohol. I hope I answered your question.
