How Can A Bruise Below The Waist Be Treated?

default
Posted on Tue, 9 May 2017
Question: Have had a bruise about 3 inches below the waist on left side about 2 inches from the spine for about 2 months, with no change in color intensity. About 1 1/2 weeks ago, found a lump under the bruise that moves when touched. I'm pretty sure I didn't bunp into anything to cause the bruise. Do you have any thoughts as to what it can be?

Brief Answer:
Can you upload an image of this area for review?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

To be of most help, I will need to review to area to at least see what it looks like. Without reviewing an image, the response would be very vague and might not address your exact worries. This is really not good and more so for a paid service. For this reason, I kindly suggest that you upload an image for review. Between, has there been any pain or change in the color of the skin around this area?

To upload an image, simply click on the link to upload a file and follow the instructions. If this proves difficult, please send the image by mail to YYYY@YYYY and request that the image should be uploaded to your query.

Brief Answer:
Thanks for the images!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the images.

I have reviewed all of them. This represents minor blood leaks into the skin. Am wondering whether you could be on steroids as these are known to cause thinning of the skin and bleeding. Kindly report your medications to me. For now, there is no reason to worry. These would gradually get resorbed.

I wish you well and appreciative of the efforts you put in uploading these images.
