Question: Hi, I noticed this rash in my groin. I was wondering whether you thought it was herpes, chafing, sweat rash or something else. I appreciated the feedback. Thanks :)

I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be sweat dermatitis.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected area twice daily along with frequent application of a dusting powder on the affected areas 2-3 times in a day.
Keep the area dry and clean, stay in cool airy environment and wear cotton clothes.
