What Could Be The Reason For Vaginal Bleeding Three Days After My Period Got Over?
Question: Hi,
I am a 34 year old woman. I am experiencing vaginal bleeding 3 days after my period got over. This is the first time, it has happened. Can you please share what could be the reason.
Details:
Period started on 18th April afternoon. Usually my period lasts for 4 days with very little spotting for another day. This time my period ended but there was still some very mild bleeding- pinkish in color and on 25th April evening, the flow increased and I had to use a sanitary napkin as well. It has continued today as well.It is less than period flow but still needs a sanitary napkin.
Please note that I had unprotected intercourse 4 days after the period started. Further, I am TTC and I am on folic acid supplement as suggested by the doctor.

Do wait for the bleeding to stop and in case it continues for more than next 3-4 days or the bleeding is heavy then you will need prescription hormonal tablets to regularize the periods.
