Question: Hi, I am Kidney disease patient though I am not on dialysis because creatinine test required by my doctor shows my creatinine is within normal. My PSA is 0.49 and my prostrate volume is 20.16cm3. Back in December 2018 I had blood in urine which was treated with Prexam and Divos 500 and the blood in urine stopped. When frequent urine started 4weeks ago my general practice doctor required that I do HIV Antibody test which was negative. My fasten blood sugar also shows I am not diabetic. I have low blood pressure which is 64/104. I also have the following conditions:
--I have lost 5kgs in 4weeks.
--I urinate almost 30times in a day.
--The urine come with serious urgency to the extent that if I do not urinate immediately I will urinate into my pants.
--I cannot get the real taste of food(metallic taste)
--I have serious lower back pain especially lower left back.
--I have cramps in my arms and hands such that sometimes if I fold my hands fingers it will be difficult to stretch it out.
--I am anaemic (RBC count is 29.2 , PCV is 26.9%, Haemoglobin (Hb) is 9.4gm/dl.
--Dizziness.
--Sometimes I have swollen legs and arms which I control by reducing my salt intake.
-- I sometimes breath very fast when I eat food such as corn or corn based foods and pineapple . After a personal research I discovered that what is common to those foods is that they contain phosphorus. --The episodes of blood in urine also comes up when up when I eat foods like meat, fried foods , roasted foods , smoked foods and a host of others.
In short I have all the symptoms of a kidney failure.
I want a herbal solutions to these. Can you please help me.

Brief Answer:
possibly CKD

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your query, I'm of the following opinion:

1.going by your history, it seems you are either a patient of CKD [chronic kidney disease] or ESRD [end stage renal disease], however, to exclude any of the one or both possibilities please check with a Urologist for detailed examination and necessary investigation(s).

2. As you have not mentioned your age, thus looking at the PSA value and Volume, it is normal for all the age groups, however, one should exclude the possibility of prostate cancer. [get a second opinion] since it is associated with
- frequent urination
- blood in urine
- urge to urinate frequently.

3. metallic taste/fatigue/low hemoglobin/loss of weight can be because of kidney failure, keep a regular check on RFT [renal functions test] especially blood urea and serum creatinine.

PS. with CKD, kidneys fail to produce the hormone erythropoietin which helps in the production of red blood cells [RBC's], resulting in anemia.

PS. best is to personally maintain the input/output urine chart at home since it is the best way to know the functioning of the kidneys.

4. back pain is mostly associated with diseases of muscle or the spine, and not kidney disease, however, with advancing kidney damage, kidneys fail to convert vitamin D into an active form and may cause bone pain.

5. for cramps related condition check with electrolyte disturbance [serum sodium/potassium/chloride/phosphorus/magnesium], blood sugar.

PS. as blood sugar is excluded, thus diabetic Nephropathy could be excluded [unless proved otherwise], check with your blood pressure as Hypertensive Nephropathy could be there, also low blood pressure [low blood volume] itself is a pre-renal cause of renal failure. [please mention your age].

6. As you have rightly pointed out, phosphorus should be avoided by patients of CKD: mainly milk, yogurt, cheese, peanut butter, chicken, nuts, caramel, beer, ice cream, whole grain bread.

7. The herbal solution is available for the said problem, do let me know about the same since we do courier the medicine associated with Kidney disease [वृक्क रोग] , along with diet chart and lifestyle modifications. and if you are interested I can share the medicine details, price, courier charges, and bank details.
