Brief Answer:
Olmesartan and thiazides can be tried.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
First of all I appreciate your efforts to keep healthy.
Your lab parameters are almost within normal limits and no need to worry though your blood sugar levels are borderline.
Considering your age and diabetes status, your blood pressure level have to be reduced to 130 over 90. Angiotensin receptor blockers are the best drugs for you. Telmisartan or newer drugs like olmesartan is the best. If the BP is not controlled additional drugs like diuretics preferably hydrochlor thiazides may be added. None among them contraindicated in diabetes and side effects are minimal.
As of now do regular exercises, drink plenty of water and reduce salt intake.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Continue Cilacar.

Detailed Answer:
Telmisarran and olmesartan belongs to same group of drug viz ARBs( Angiotensin receptor blockers). Olmesartan being a newer congener of is having lesser side effects and more effective. It is recommended in old age and people with diabetes because it is more renal compliant and decrease protein loss through urine.
Diuretics can be used as an add on drug for hypertension, not for diabetes.
You can continue Cilacar.
