Question: Hi Doctor!
I'm a 57-year-old female with Sero-negative RA. I had a complete hysterectomy in 2016. I've been having night sweats and hot flashes for many months, but lately, the night sweats seem to have gotten worse and now I am also shivering at night as well. My temp. is below normal (96-97), which is actually normal for me. I see a Rheumatologist and an Endocrinologist regularly and have regular blood work done. Just recently had a complete metabolic panel done, which was normal, as was all my bloodwork. My father had Hodgkin's Disease and my mother and uncle had non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, so I'm concerned that cancer is lurking somewhere. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Hot flashes

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

In my opinion at the moment that your exams are normal you should not be concerned about cancer

I think that your symptoms are from your other health issues that you prescribed before.
At the moment I will suggest you too follow your doctors advices

Best regards
