Question: Hi Doctor, I have the query for my mother. She is having the symptoms like fits from last couple of months. But it's not excatly fits. First time it happened before 6 months and then after 2 months and now it's happening once or sometimes twice in a week. All of a sudden, she is having dizziness and becoming subconscious for couple of seconds and falling down, she has sense during that time. During that time, her body is shaking. Many times it has happened while lying to bed after having food. She is having dizziness most of the time and she is feeling some kind of disturbance around the left ear. It's paining sometimes. Could you please tell me if this is happening due to any neuro related issue or there is some other reason?

Brief Answer:
Get examined and evaluated by a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and reports and understand your concern for your mother.

Cardiac problem is one possibility for these symptoms.
Presyncopal or syncopal attacks are likely. ECG is having bradycardia. 2D Echo is advised.

Another possibility may be partial or complex partial seizures.
Get an EEG done and have a Neurology opinion too.

The vestibular system needs to be examined and tested either by a neurologist or ENT specialist.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
Continue all the prescribed medications as advised by her treating physician.
Feel free to ask further.
