How Should I Go About Treating Continuous Discomfort Around The Waist?
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am feeling a continuous niggle around my waist , at the back and front as well.
The pain is not severe but mild .however it is continuous and I think it may be related to kidney. I think so because i had an abdomen ultrasound done last year and It was something seen in kidney, but all the urine and blod tests were normal after that.
I consulted Nephrologist last year and he advised me SodiumBicarbonate tablets for 2 months and told me that you are not a kidney patient yet.
Now, From last 4-5 days I am feeling irritation in lower abdomen area.

Brief Answer:
You should be investigated.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
First investigation that has to be done is ultrasound abdomen. This will give a clue. Serum Creatinine levels will tell about Kidney function. If there is any lesion in the kidney, then you should consult a Nephrologist / Urologist.
Please attach your previous prescription and reports if available. Please consult your doctor and get an Ultrasound abdomen and Serum Creatinine. If you come back with reports, I will clarify further.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further. Wish you good health.
Regards
