Question: Hi Doc,

my 12 days baby looks to get breath from mouth sometimes. i beleieve he might be having cold. how often should i use the nasoclear drops?

Yes, it is quite normal for newborns to have stuffy nose which as a result may cause them to breathe through their mouth. You can administer Nasoclear 3-4 times daily for proper lubrication of the nose and to keep it moist. Avoid direct exposure of the baby to fan or air conditioner, as dry air can cause nasal block easily.
