Question: Hello, Good Morning Doctor. I have a question. I have been diagnosed with H pylori and the number was around 16 my doctor told me. I went thru the first few weeks test of taking amoxcillin for 10 days along with nexium as well but I was still having little bit of pain.

Sorry about this being long.I went back last week and told her I was still having little bit of pain more like a muscle nerve I didn't have before,I was working out my lower back and the nerves in my stomache start hurting and it never done that before till I got on medication and I read a lot about nexium side effects so I get scared.

Now I'm on amoxciln and 500mg of flagly metronidazole twice a day and when I took just one dose my back started getting tingling and numb,my right leg and foot and hands and little of my face and lips and o been scared to get back on it and she told me take the nexium again but I read the long term side reacts of it and it says I shouldn't do more than 14 days and wondering if that's been causing my muscle nerve pains in my abs and my back as well so I haven't took that again. I been just relying on amoxciln and I tried mastic gum but got bad headaches and adding different vitamins like b12 as well but I read it shouldn't be taken cause it can't interfere and I took vitamin c but I felt a mild burn when I took it alone first time lastnight.

And the doctor is new to the small clinic and I seen thru research that she graduated last year as a nurse and she sometimes comes off as not really knowing as much like more long term doctors that's been doing it for years and when I got the prescription it didn't say how many hours apart so the first time I was only taking 2 times a day at random hours since I work overnights 10pm thru 7am and now yesterday I finally wrote down to take 1 amoxciln at 9pm and the other at 5am and will not be adding other vitamins just in case it's cause irritation

Sorry about being so long doctor I'm just so anxious about all this stuff I just want to get rid of it and what should I do about the flagyl is it safe to try it again as in one half in day and other half at nigh 8 hours apart since it's 500mg to be split as 250mg with amoxciln or should I not take a chance again and also in my diet I do not eat greasy foods really ever and don't eat fast food,spices foods,and citrus stuff.I mainly drink water and eat more on the healthy side these past few years and I'm 28 male 5 foot 7 135 pounds
