Is There Risk Of Contracting HIV After Coming In Skin Contact With An HIV Positive Person?
Question: Hello there , i work at a hospital where i was putting chest leads for stress test with bare hands on her skin , that lady was HIV positive and was on medication. she wasnt bleeding at the time and neither was i bleeding. should i be concerned for hiv by touching ? or by sweating.

Your risk for HIV exposure is negligible at best. There was no high risk exposure involving your care for this patient.
It is even less likely that transmission would occur from a patient with HIV who is on active therapy.
