Dear Ma'am. Thanks for the reply. she is 14 days 5 weeks pregnant. she had undergone an nt-nb scan. The reports are attached herewith. just want to confirm whether everything is fine or not and what type of precautions we have to take at this point of pregnancy. Anything to be avoided in eating habits etc.
Brief Answer:
The scan report is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have seen the attached report. The ultrasound scan report is normal. The increased RI in left uterine artery is also normal for pregnancy due to increased blood flow in the artery. No need to worry.
As far as diet is concerned she can have milk, cheese, egg, meat and pulses but try to avoid spicy food and take less salt. Green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, pulses should be taken more often. Eat frequent but small meals.
She can sleep in any direction but in the second and third trimester, left lateral position is the best.
Eight hrs sleep during the night and 2 hrs during day time is required.
Iron intake should be more but iron tablets are given after 60 days of conception.
Immunization with tetanus toxoid inj should be done with your doctor's advise. Regular follow-ups like BP and Weight checkups are required.
You get her quadruple markers done at 14 weeks. These tests are done for fetal well being.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
