Brief Answer:
Home remedies

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Ask her to lie on hard bed without mattress.
You can apply local heat with the help of hot water bottle, but be careful the temperature should be in bearable level.
Otherwise , best option will be some painkiller as Aceclofenic 100 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg two times. Add any muscle relaxant as Tizanidine or Chlorzoxone or Thiocolchicoside as these will give excellent relief.
Ask mother to avoid unnecessary exertion or bending of spine.

I hope I have solved your query. You may ask any follow up question.

Hello Doctor,

thank you for your speedy reply. I am on warfarin (5 mg, 7 days a week), and lyrica (50 mg daily), Atenol, and Anlodipine.

Will taking muscle relaxers give me any side effects with these prescriptions? Can I get these off the shelf, or does my doctor need to prescribe them for me? Thank you for your follow up answer.

Sincerely

Hi,

Please note that muscle relaxant will not cause interactions. You can safely take.
These are prescription drugs and you need visit a local doctor.
