Brief Answer:
Looks like ocular allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
by what you say this looks like ocular allergy and inflammatory response.

You can use Ketorolac eye drops three times a day for 5 days.

Oral Levocetirizine can reduce ocular allergy too.

But both are prescription drugs and you will require a doctor's prescription for thrm
.

hi doctor , not sure but these medicines seems to be quite heavy for a 7 months old baby. may be he has ocular allergy because he started this during this month and may be because of monsoon. however, there is no redness or any other symptoms like swelling of eye lids etc. is there any home remedy I can use to get him relief from ithchiness. he mostly do it during sleeping.

Brief Answer:
Clean the eyes with clean room temperature water

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX alternatively you can clean the eyes with normal clean room temperature water with a cotton wisp.
Levocetrizine is licensed to be used in babies above 6 months. Same is the case with Ketorolac.
But Ketorolac is not approved in neonates that is less than 28 days of life.
