Brief Answer:
definite brain damage or other deleterious effects possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, there can be various deleterious effects of
repeated punching over head with severe impact ranging from transient
concussion to chronic subdural hematoma or else as the brain is naturally
protected with fine balance of skull bone and CSF surrounding.

* The various factors modify the clinical effects of the blow over head as

- type of punch
- force applied with angle of impact over scalp
- position of head during such maneuver as stationary or moving
- any protective wear
- associated medical conditions as high blood pressure or else

* Repeated blowing affect the micro vasculature, cerebrospinal fluid
homeostasis, drainage of venous sinuses, grey and white matter of the
brain as well as fine neurotransmitter release mechanics of the brain.

* The symptoms may vary from

- no obvious findings or complains
- mild and recurrent headache
- vertigo or spinning with balancing problems
- memory issues
- impaired hearing, vision or other senses
- difficulty involving motor or sensory pathways of various limb depending
upon the site of impact

* The appearance of symptoms may take varying time period depending
upon multiple parameters.

However, as much of the details are not available for your frind`s case, I would like to discuss ahead with more relevant information to proceed for the same.

Awaiting for your response.
Regards.
