Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for contacting Healthcare Magic.

Adiza is a anti-acid (acid suppressing) medicine. Snapdol is a analgesic. There is no particular time frame for these medicines. These can be taken as long as the symptoms persisit.

It is nice to know that you feel better.

Dear XXXXXXX

Your symptoms of severe gastritis, bloating, loss of appetite and constipation most likely are benign symptoms.

It will help to know for how long are you having these symptoms.

If these are only for short duration then these may get cured completely by a course of antibiotics as these may be due to problem like small bowel infection.

But if you have these for longer duration and get these repeatedly then more likely is that these are manifestations of IBS (gastroenterologist before a definite diagnosis is made.

Wishing you all the best.

Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for getting in touch again.

You seen to be having functional bowel disease (IBS). Have any blood tests been done, you should get Bl Sugar, Haemogram, LFT, KFT, T3, T4, TSH.

You should also take a course of gut antibiotics, which your local physician can advise.

Regarding diet, you should avoid milk, juices, tea, coffee, spicy food, fatty food and sour food. In addition if you think there is any particular food that precipitates your symptoms, then that should be avoided. You can take curd or lassi.

Best wishes,
