Hi,

Thanks for writing in.

There are a few possibilitiesfor such pains.
The commonest ones are Plantar Fascitis,Calcaneal spur, Neuropathy.

It is certainly due to either of these unless there was any injury.
Such symptomsare usually due prolonged pressire of the heel over floor.
So, try to se if can avoid that. Avoid high heel shoes if you ar using.

The Recommended treatement is a local steroid injection.
Therfore, i must adviceyou to consult your orthopaedician who can check you for these cause and give appropriate treatment.

Hope this answers your query.

Please get back if you need any further information.

Sincerely,

Dr Kiran
