Brief Answer:
Immunodeficiency to be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for choosing XXXXXXX After analyzing your query, I feel you need to be evaluated for immuno-deficiency. Recurrent oral candidiasis is a sign of decreased immunity of the body. For that you need to be evaluated for the cause of this decreased immunity, few blood investigations and a scan abdomen after examining you physically will be helpful. Also rule out diabetes, which could be a contributing factor.
I usually order few investigations like:
Complete blood counts, ESR, to rule out any chronic infection
Blood sugar-fasting and post prandial
Liver and renal function tests
Treatment will depend on the possible cause for decreased immunity, then your candidial problem will solve by itself.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups. If you like my answers kindly rate it, and write a review as well. Please do not forget to accept it.
Thank you,
Wish you good health.

Thank you so much, am going to Cleveland clinic in fl. I do agree with you what the problem is, but after 26 doctors oral specialists, cancer specialists, telling me nothing is wrong, I started doubting myself. I had complete blood work from the cancer doctor that showed I had mgnus, and no matter what symptom I showed, mouth ulcers I have been treated like a crazy person from the medical profession here. I was even kicked out of emergency room, infectious disease( who would not see me) telling me nothing is wrong, even though I had huge ulcers in my mouth. Not one of these doctors bothered to look at my culture stating I had candida tropiclis, no pain pills where given, and I have cried myself to sleep in pain for over 1 year. I even collected samples of what was coming out of my mouth eggs, white hard balls on my tongue, worms, and they threw them out saying they where food. Finally one doctor told me that was how candia shows itself, but never figured out what the white hard balls where. I am on my way to get help I hope, V banyay

Brief Answer:
Temporary treatment with lignocaine gel.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Though you have consulted many doctors, the above advise is my personal opinion. For pain relief you can take some dental gels which contains Lignocaine as local anesthetic. You can apply this cream just before you have your food. Kindly avoid few things which might aggravate your problem, like drinking hot beverages, taking stress and eating hard solid food. Meanwhile you have to take lot and lots of fluid and water, try eating ice-creams.

You can also try single dose of fluconazole tablet, after consulting your doctor. But, do request your doctor for screening test as advised earlier.

If you do not have any further clarification you can close the discussion. Kindly rate & review my answer. Wish you good health.

I have tried all things you mentioned, none works at all, the pure lidocaine is a joke, 6 treatments with the fungus medicine you mentioned, all over the counter gels, all compounded candida mouthwashes ( 6 different types). Reading more and more about it the one good test is igg, iga, which is elevated and why I saw a cancer doctor, so all that time ago the one test that shows candida in the body, the doctor thought it was monogloconomal mgnus, when the test was showing I had candida,

Brief Answer:
Immunodeficiecy might be a cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I can understand your concern, but all measures are temporary, you need to undergo further evaluation which I have mentioned in my previous answer to come to a conclusion. Only good immunity can stop this candidial infection. I advise you to re-visit an infectious disease specialist and discuss about this possibility.

As far as MGUS, my expertise are restricted in this regards. You perhaps should discuss with hematologist after you talk with infectious disease specialist.

If you do not have any further clarification you can close the discussion. Kindly rate & review my answer. Wish you good health.
