Question: Having a bit of cough in throat after cold and flu .

I was having cold and fever 2 week back . After discussing with doctor I took a course of Azithromycin 500 mg for 3 days along with Benadryl - E first and Bendryl Allergy later and Crocin Advance ( for fever untill it ends ) .

I am almost cured now and taking no more medicines . However still I have a bit of cough in throat . Please suggest how to cure the same .

I am currently in Mexico , so please suggest medicines accordingly.

Brief Answer:
follow the advises... observe how you stay after this...

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I've gone through your query and understand your concerns,

Well, it's good that the symptomatic improvements observed already...

I'd simply suggest you do salt water (lukewarm) gargling three times a day, along with it do Betadine gargle in an alternative fashion for the next 3-4 days(it's available globally, you should be able to obtain it too)...

Avoid dusty environments, over-crowded places...Use a facemask if at all you'd to go to the overcrowded places......Try to have simple foods (avoid sour/spicy foods for the time being, drink plenty of mineral water, have plenty of soup, broth, porridges etc)...
These should take care of it...

Let me know if I can assist you further...

Brief Answer:
follow as already advised...

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,

In that scenario, you should continue with the betadine and luke-warm saline water gargle for a few days more as already suggested...No need to take steam inhalation if there's no nasal congestion or excessive secretions...

Additionally, follow those lifestyle and diet measures mentioned earlier, it should get better within a while...
