Have Tubes Tied. Noticed Clear Vaginal Discharge. What Is Going On?

default
Posted on Tue, 14 May 2013
Question: I have had my tubes tied for two years. Two days ago I wiped and had a big thick clear blob of vaginal discharge. It was completely clear and had no odor but there was a lot of it. What's going on?

Hi XXXXXX.

Thank you for putting up your problem to Healthcare Magic!
The ligation of the tube does ot affect the nature of the vaginal secretions and the cyclical changes that occur otherwise.
You are fearing pregnancy with this, I hope you do not have other symptoms.
Watch you periods, if delayed please get a urine pregnancy test because some pregnancies occur due to recanalization that is a spontaneous repair of the tubes or a slip of ligatures which can result in failure.
I hope this information would be both informative and helpful for you

Is this a possible symptom of pregnancy?

Hi XXXXXX,
Welcome back.
Not necessarily but it creates a doubt in favour so it is necessary to rule out pregnancy, so please do the suggested test.
I hope you would be alright.
